How to Configure Your Stripe Card Reader(POS) in the Flipdish Portal

Before a Stripe Account can be setup, the customer’s bank account is required in the Flipdish Portal

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Login to the Flipdish Portal via https://portal.flipdish.com/

  2. Select your brand or store by clicking the logo in the top-right corner.

  3. On the left hand menu, navigate to FinanceBank Accounts (if no bank accounts are listed, please ensure you've added your bank account by following the instructions in this Helpdesk Article.)

  4. Once the bank account is added and verified by Stripe,

    -Navigate to Sales ChannelsPoint of Sale on the left hand menu.

    -Click the dropdown arrow in the “Property” field and select the POS location you want to link the bank account to.

    -Click the property → General Settings.

Make note of the Flipdish Store ID (example: 68931)

And, from the URL, make a note of the App ID (fd20228 in this example)

5. Navigate back to the Sales ChannelsPoint of Sale, then click on Payout Configuration

  • Select ‘Flipdish’ from the ‘Payout Integration Type’ drop-down menu

  • Enter the Flipdish Store ID and App ID (sourced from Step 4)

  • Click on ‘Create New Stripe Location’ and enter the Store name and address and ‘Save’ - the Stripe Location ID will now be automatically populated

  • Finally, click Save.
