  4. Add the Printer
In the Devices and Printers window, click on the "Add a printer or scanner" button. Windows will begin searching for printers connected to your computer.

  7. Select the USB Port
Choose the USB port your printer is connected to, then click Next.

  8. Install or Update the Driver
When asked for a driver, select Generic → Text Only, then click Next.

  9. Choose 'Replace the current driver'. Click Next.

  10. Rename your printer. Please note that this step is crucial as the printer name you assign here should be the exact same printer name you add in the Flipdish portal (this is case sensitive). Click Next.

Below image is the Flipdish Portal page where you'll enter the same printer name:

  11. Print a Test Page
After installation, click Print a test page to verify everything works correctly.

12. Complete the Setup
If the test page is successful, click Finish. If it fails, double-check the USB port and driver selection, then retry.

Once complete, your SUNMI printer will be ready in Devices and Printers and available for use with your POS system.

Note: Most USB receipt printers can be set up using the steps above. However, some manufacturers and models may require driver installation. Please contact the supplier for information about downloading and installing the driver.
