Go to your Flipdish Portal

Whether on desktop or mobile, visit the Orders screen in your Flipdish portal.

On Desktop: Select Live View

 Select the "Live View" button on the right hand corner of the screen

If there are any pending orders, they will appear in this live view. To alert you, a sound plays when a new order comes in, or if there are any pending orders. Pending orders have a purple symbol beside them, with the most recent order appearing at the top of the page.  


Use the Accept or Reject buttons at the bottom of the page to accept or reject an order.

Accept 

Please accept the order with the most suitable time e.g. 10 minutes. This is important, as this time appears in the confirmation SMS sent to your customer.  In the portal, accepted orders show a green symbol. 


Reject 

If you need to reject the order, use the Reject button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. It will then ask you to choose the reason for rejecting the order. This is important, as this rejection reason appears in the confirmation SMS sent to your customer.  In the portal, rejected orders will show a red symbol. 

For example, if you’ve selected "unknown address", this will appear in the confirmation SMS to your customer.

We recommend to use the reject option sparingly, as rejecting online orders will cost your business money due to missed sales. Read how to keep your rejected orders low here

Important: 

  • The most recent order will appear at the top 
  • You must accept or reject the order for your customer to receive a confirmation SMS of their order 
  • Unaccepted orders will be automatically rejected after about 10 minutes.
  • To easily identify the status of orders, remember that Purple = Pending, Green = Accepted and Red = Rejected

How to double check you've accepted all orders on desktop

Afraid you've missed an order? Use the search function to search for all pending orders.

On Mobile 

Any pending orders will appears in the Orders tab 

Tap into the order to accept or reject it.

Use the Accept or Reject buttons at the bottom of the page to accept or reject an order.

Accept

Once you've accepted or rejected the order, please hit the back arrow on the current order to bring you back to the main Orders view.
