Instructions:
Step 1 - Take a collection or delivery order as you normally would. Take extra care entering the customer's phone number otherwise, the customer will not receive the payment link.
Step 2 - Click Pay at the bottom of the page
Step 3 - Enter the amount to be paid over the phone or click "Full Amount"
Step 4 - Click "Others"
Step 5 - Click "Over Phone Payment"
Step 6 - Direct the customer to check their text message or email inbox. (Depending on how you have the system set up)
Step 7 - You can choose to end the call now or wait until the customer has completed the transaction.
The customer will then:
Receive a text message or email with a payment link.
Click the link
Have the option to review their order
Have the option to enter a voucher code
Have the option to enter notes for the kitchen
Have the option to select a card or Apple/Google Pay as a payment type
Receive a payment confirmation message and their order number
Until the order is paid, it is not sent to the KDS or printed in the kitchen, it will show as an incomplete order. Once paid, the order will be automatically sent to the kitchen either straight away or in the future depending on when the customer requested the order.
