Place a Collection Order on Your Flipdish POS

This is a guide on how to take an order for collection over the phone from your customers using your Flipdish Point of Sale.

All staff have access to this.

Instructions:

Step 1 - Log into your Flipdish Point of Sale using your PIN or RFID Card reader.

Step 2 - Click on the 'Collection' icon

Step 3 - Click on the items your customer has told you they would like to order

Step 4 - If applicable, select your modifiers/option sets/extras for that item

Step 5 - Click "Next" after each modifier/option set/extra

(The items will appear in the order summary on the right side of the page as you add them)

Step 6 - If any changes need to be made, select any items from the order summary and use the '+' or '-' icons in the bottom right of the page to increase or decrease the quantity of that item

Step 7 - Click "Exit" in the bottom right of the screen once all the customer's items have been added to leave the item unpaid

(The order will now be sent to your kitchen display screen or kitchen printer if you are using either of these devices)

Step 8 - When the customer arrives to collect the order ask the customer for their name or mobile number

Step 9 - Find the order by logging into your Flipdish Point of Sale using your PIN or RFID Card reader.

Step 10 - Click "Outstanding" at the bottom of the page

Step 11 - Find the sale using the search bar at the top of the page using either the order number, customer name or phone number

Step 12 - Open the order using the open order button.

Step 13 - Click "Pay" in the bottom right corner.

Step 14 - Click "Full amount"

Step 15 - Select "Cash" or "Credit" or "Others" (if you have a gift card integration)

Step 16 - Offer the customer receipt that has just been printed to the customer

If the order is paid with cash the cash register will automatically open when you click the "cash" button. This will not happen for credit card transactions instead the customer will be prompted to tap or enter their card into the card machine.
