Updated over a week ago

To receive orders on your Flipdish Terminal, the device needs to be connected to the internet. Please follow the below steps to check if the device is online.

Requirements:

  • Flipdish Terminal

  • WIFI Network name and password

Video:

Instructions:

1. Please Exit Kiosk by pressing the power button for 2-3 seconds
2. Enter the PIN code '1234'
3. Locate and open the folder 'Tools'
4. Open the app 'POS Steward'
5. Select 'Internet' (Top right)
6. Check the information on the screen
7. Scroll down
8. Select 'Network Test'
9. Select 'Start Testing'
10. The 'LAN' option should have a green checkmark
11. The 'Internet' option should have a green checkmark
12. The 'Delay' should show a value in 'ms'

The lower 'ms' the faster the Terminal will receive the orders (E.g. 1-100 ms is fast, 101-200 ms is average, 201-999 is slow).

We strongly recommend having the Flipdish Terminal near your router (when using WIFI) and away from any device causing network interference.

Flipdish Terminals can use a USB-C ethernet adaptor to enable a LAN connection.
