Our Flipdish online ordering system ensures a simple and secure payment process for your customers, making it convenient to order and pay for food online.
We've introduced a 'two-tap pay' process that streamlines the ordering and payment experience for customers.
Web Payments:
On our website, customers can choose their preferred payment method from the 'payment methods' section. They have two options:
Cash Payments:
When the customer is ready to pay, they can click on 'cash' on the payment methods page. They can then click 'Pay with Cash'. If they don't choose a time and pre-orders are in place, a pop-up will appear prompting them toselect a timefrom a drop-down menu.
They must then click on '‘Place Order'.' The order is unpaid, and they will need to pay in-store or when the delivery arrives.
Card Payments:
When entering their card details, they must click on 'Add Card and Pay'. This saves the card to their profile, and the order will be placed.
This is added as the customer's default card which they can then use the next time they are ordering food from any restaurant powered by Flipdish.
App Payments:
In the app, customers can choose their payment method by clicking on the 'payment type' option once their food is in the basket.
If they click on Payment Type, it gives them the option to pay by either cash or card, explained in more detail below.
Cash payments:
If they choose cash they can go ahead and click ‘Place Order'. Their order is unpaid, and they need to pay in-store or when their delivery arrives.
Card Payments:
The customer must fill out their card details and tap 'done' to add the card
Once the card details are added, they can choose to pay with that card at the checkout.
The added card becomes their default for future orders from Flipdish-powered restaurants.
When they wish to pay, they must double tap on the card and click 'place order'.
