Kiosk settings can be accessed on the Flipdish Portal
Requirements & Permissions
Users must be Owner or Managed Owner to edit Kiosk settings.
Some settings can be edited by the Store Owner role.

General Kiosk Settings
📌NOTE: Make sure to select the correct brand in the top right.
Kiosks belong to brands in the portal.
If you only have one brand this is not important.
But if you have two brands, you must select the correct brand to see and edit the Kiosks settings.
To navigate to general kiosk settings, on the left navigation in portal:
Go to Sales Channels > Kiosks
Then select the "Settings" tab.
Select "Kiosk Home Screen customization".
Settings in here apply to all kiosks within your restaurant brand.

Settings for individual Kiosks
You can edit settings for individual kiosks within your restaurant.
In the portal, select the Kiosk sales channels on the left navigation.
Then select the Kiosk sales channel which you want to edit.
In the example below, this is one Kiosk Sales Channel within the restaurant.
You will be presented with the sales channels settings as outlined below.
Editing settings here will effect the kiosks assigned which that sales channel is assigned to.
How to check which kiosks your sales channel is assigned to
In the portal, navigate to:
Sales Channels
Kiosks
Select Devices Tab
Select Kiosks option
Select the specific Kiosk to see the sales channels assigned to it.
How to change sales channel logo on Kiosk
In the Flipdish portal, on the left navigation, go to:
Select Sales Channels
Select Kiosks
Select the kiosk sales channel you want to edit
Select Kiosk Settings
Select the option "Kiosk Settings".
This logo will represent the sales channel on the Kiosk home screen if there are multiple sales channels assigned to a kiosk device for consumers to select from.

Require customer name
You may wish to ask the customer for their name before completing an order.
This will help in identifying the customer who made the order in your restaurant, rather than calling out the order ID.
Customers will enter their name on the kiosk before continuing to the menu to make an order.
On the left nav:
Select Sales Channels
Select Kiosks
Select the kiosk sales channel you want
Select Kiosk Settings from the list of options.
Select the option "Require customer name" to configure it.
To edit this setting, make sure to turn it on for all relevant kiosks using the toggle on the right hand side.
Request table number
If you offer table service, enable this setting to request a table number from the customer making an order.
On the left navigation, go to:
Select Sales Channels
Select Kiosks
Select the kiosk sales channel you want
Select Kiosk Settings from the list of options.
Select the option "Request table number" to configure it.
To edit the setting, turn on the toggle on the right hand side for all relevant kiosks.
Offer Dine-In
The Dine-In setting allows you to ask the customer if they want to order for either Dine-In or take out. If this setting is disabled the Kiosk will default all orders to take out
On the left navigation, go to:
Sales Channels
Select Kiosks
Select the kiosk sales channel you want
Select Kiosk Settings from the list of options.
Select the option "Request table number" to configure it.
To edit the setting, turn on the toggle on the right hand side for all relevant kiosks.
