Cash Up From Deliveries with the Flipdish POS

Cashing up refers to when delivery drivers accept cash as a form of payment during the delivery. This cash will need to be deposited. Managers will navigate to the reports section of the POS. When they cash up or choose to make a deposit/withdrawal, this will be recorded appropriately in the till.

Requirements:
Firstly you will need to be a staff member with the relevant permissions (Store or Staff Manager).


Deposit

If you need to deposit any amount of money a delivery staff member gives you, follow these steps.

Instructions:

1.- Log into your Flipdish point of sale system using your pin or RFID Card reader.
2.- Click on the nine dots in square arrangement or, navigate with the arrows until you see the "Cashing Up" option.


3.- Click 'Cashing Up'.
4.- Enter the amount you want to deposit.
5.- Click on 'Deposit'.


6.- Select reason to deposit (in this case, we'll select 'Change Returned').
7.- If requested, select the Staff Member.


8.- Press 'OK'.

This deposit will be recorded in your report and will be assigned to the staff member who deposited it.


Withdraw

If you need to withdraw money to give change to a delivery staff member, follow these steps.

Instructions:

1.- Log into your Flipdish point of sale system using your pin or RFID Card reader.
2.- Click on the nine dots in square arrangement or, navigate with the arrows until you see the "Cashing Up" option.


3.- Click 'Cashing Up'.
4.- Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
5.- Click on 'Withdraw'.


6.- Select reason of withdraw (in this case, we'll select 'Change Returned').
7.- If requested, select the Staff Member.


8.- Press 'OK'.

This withdrawal will be recorded in your expenses report and will be assigned to the staff member who withdrew it.
