Add New Staff Members

This article will cover how to add new staff members' profiles to your point of sale

Requirements:

Please note you will need admin-level access to manage these settings

Instructions:

Step 1 - Log into your Point of Sale Back Office with your email address and password.

Step 2 - Click on the Business name in the top right drop-down. This is the Franchise level view.

Step 3 - Select the relevant store from the drop-down list

Step 4 - Click 'Modules' on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 5 - Click 'Payroll'

Step 6 - Click 'Staff'

Step 7 - Click 'Add' in the right-hand corner.

Step 8 - Use the form in the 'Details' tab to enter the staff members' details such as:

  • First and last name

  • Date of birth

  • Nationality

  • Address

  • Phone number

  • Email

Step 9 - Use the form in the 'HR' tab to enter details such as:

  • Joining date

  • Hourly wage

  • NI Number

  • Resignation date (which can be left blank when you are creating a new staff member)

  • Roles

Step 10 - Use the form in the 'Configuration' tab to add details such as:

  • Staff meals limit (If this staff member is entitled to staff meals)

  • Guest meals limit (if you want this staff member to be able to issue discounted guest meals to guests of your business)

  • Freebies limit (if you want this staff member to be able to issue free meals)

Step 11 - Use the form in the 'Security' tab to add details such as:

  • PIN Code to log into the Point of Sale

  • Security Card Number, if you use swipe cards to log into your Point of Sale

Step 12 - Click the boxes to give the staff member POS Access permissions. This will allow the staff member to cancel orders, issue refunds and apply discounts.

Step 13 - Click the boxes to give the staff member Purchase order access permissions, this will allow staff members to either create, receive and/or submit purchase orders on behalf of your business.

Step 14 - Complete the form under Voucher Access Permissions, which will allow you to”

  • Decide if the staff member can issue a discount voucher

  • Set their fixed discount limit

  • Set their percentage discount limit

Step 15 - Click 'Save' in the top right corner.
