This article will cover how to add new staff members' profiles to your point of sale
Requirements:
Please note you will need Owner Teammate Role or Store Manager Teammate Role for the relevant Property to access to manage these settings.
Instructions to add a new staff member:
Step 1 - Log into your Flipdish Portal with your email address and password.
Step 2 - Click on 'Add-ons' and select 'Staff'.
Step 3 - Click on 'Staff' again.
Step 4 - Click 'Add' in the right-hand corner.
Step 5 - Use the form in the 'Details' tab to enter the staff members' details such as:
First and last name
Pin Code
Roles
Phone number
Email
Security Card Number
Step 6 - Use the form in the 'HR' tab to enter details such as:
Joining date
Hourly wage
NI Number
Resignation date (which can be left blank when you are creating a new staff member)
Step 7 - Use the form in the 'Configuration' tab to add details such as:
Staff meals limit (If this staff member is entitled to staff meals)
Guest meals limit (if you want this staff member to be able to issue discounted guest meals to guests of your business)
Freebies limit (if you want this staff member to be able to issue free meals)
Step 8 - Use the form in the 'Photo' tab to add a photo of the staff member.
Step 9 - Click 'Save' in the top right corner.
Instructions to add a new staff member:
Step 1 - Log into your Flipdish Portal with your email address and password.
Step 2 - Click on 'Add-ons' and select 'Staff'.
Step 3 - Click on 'Staff Roles'.
Step 4 - Here you can see predetermined roles which you can edit by clicking on them. Click 'Save' to save your changes.
Step 5 - You can also create a new role, by clicking on the 'New Staff Role' button. You'll get a pop-up prompting you to select the permissions for the role, add a role name and a role description. Click on 'Save' to save your changes.
