This article will explain how to edit menu prices on your Point of Sale.
Requirements:
You will need access to your Flipdish Portal
Instructions:
Navigate to the "Menu Editor" section within your Flipdish portal.
Choose the specific menu that contains the item you want to edit the price for. Click on that menu.
Locate the particular menu item you need to update. On the far right of that menu item's row, you'll see three vertical dots. Click on these three dots.
A dropdown menu will appear. From this menu, select the "Edit" option. This will likely open a new section or a pop-up window with basic information about the menu item.
Within this basic information section, you should see another "Edit" button or a similar option to further modify the item's details. Click on this again.
Now you should see fields where you can directly input or adjust the price of the menu item. Enter the new price in the designated field
In this same area, you'll typically find an option to indicate whether the item is subject to tax. You can select the appropriate taxable rate if applicable.
Once you've updated the price and the tax settings (if any), make sure to click on "Apply Changes' to apply them to the menu item.
You might want to double-check the updated price on your live menu or preview to ensure it's displaying correctly.
Repeat this process for any other menu items that require price adjustments.
