Change Ordering Language on Your Kiosk

Learn how to change your Flipdish Kiosk language to facilitate your customer's ordering experience.

Requirements:

Instructions:

On your Flipdish Kiosk

  1. Press and hold the Flipdish logo for 2-3 seconds (Bottom left)

  2. The Flipdish logo will change from blue to black

  3. Swipe from the right side of the screen to the centre of the screen

  4. Select "Toggle Language Picker"

Interface Items that are Translated and those that are not:

  • Buttons, menu screen headings, and messages during the experience are translated to the selected language.

  • The item names and descriptions, however, are displayed in whatever language the restaurant has written them in.

How to change menu item names and descriptions:

If you are the restaurant owner you can log in to the Flipdish Portal and enter the menu item names and descriptions to any language for your store.

Supported Languages for the Interface on Kiosk:

  • English (GB)

  • English (US)

  • Finnish

  • French

  • German

  • Portuguese (Brazil)

  • Portuguese

  • Italian

  • Spanish

  • Spanish (Mexico)

  • Dutch

  • Catalan (Valencian)

Now you are set, customers can choose which language to use when ordering from your Flipdish kiosk.
