Learn about Subscription Billing Information in the Flipdish Portal
This article explains how you can use the Billing & Invoices section of the Flipdish portal to see all information related to your subscriptions for Flipdish products and services, track your invoices, and take action on any overdue payments.
Requirements:
The Owner or Managed Owner access is required to view subscription billing information in the Flipdish portal and take action on overdue invoices. Initially, users with the Store Owner, Store Manager or Finance Manager permissions will have access to the subscription billing information in the Flipdish portal only if they have access to all stores within a store group. In the future, users with the Store Owner, Store Manager or Finance Manager roles should be able to have access to the subscription information related to the stores they have access to.
Subscription Billing Information in Portal
With the introduction of the subscription model for Flipdish products, you will now be able to see the billing information for your subscriptions as well as action on any overdue invoices in the Flipdish Portal.
After a subscription for Flipdish products and services was created by the Flipdish team, users with the Owner, Managed Owner and Store Owner, Store Manager and Finance Manager permissions will have access to all related information in the Flipdish portal. Note that initially Store Owner, Store Manager or Finance Manager roles will only be able to see information about subscriptions if they have access to all stores within a store group.
Your subscriptions
To access the list of your Flipdish subscriptions login to the Flipdish Portal and click “Billing & Invoices” -> “Subscriptions” in the left navigation menu. You will also be able to access the subscription page by clicking on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and then clicking on “Subscriptions”.
The Subscription page contains the following information and options:
Subscription name consisting of products and services you subscribed to
User and payment details
Subscription status
Amount to be paid
Next payment date
An option to only see subscriptions created by you
Subscription details
When you click on a subscription you will be presented with all details pertaining to this particular subscription.
The subscription details page provides you with the following information:
Payment amount and subscription status
Payment due date
Payment and user details
Products in the subscription, quantity bought, payment schedule
Upcoming invoice breakdown
Invoices
To see invoices for a particular subscription, click on the button “View invoices” on the respective subscription details page.
If you want to see invoices for all your subscriptions go to "Billing & Invoices" -> "Subscriptions" in the left-hand side navigation menu.
You can filter invoices by date range, invoice number, subscription it relates to and you can filter by subscriptions that were created by you.
Actions with Invoices:
The invoices page allows you to search by invoice number, filter invoices by date range, store, subscription name. You can also tick the “Show only my invoices” box to filter for invoices relating to subscriptions created by you.
You can view or download previous invoices by clicking on the PDF icon in the “Actions” column.
If you are charged automatically and an automated charge fails after a number of attempts (e.g. insufficient funds, expired card etc) you will see this invoice marked as “Overdue” and you will be able to make a payment manually by clicking on the “Pay now” button. Upon clicking this button you will be redirected to a Stripe page that contains your invoicing details and a payment link
