As shown in the screenshots, your changes will reflect after saving

Best Practices for Creating Images

The software on Kiosk automatically resizes / crops images uploaded to the web to match the screen size required for Kiosk.

Follow the best practices below for good results.

Resolution & Aspect Ratio

  • We recommend the highest resolution to match the Kiosk device you own.

  • For example, a Kiosk K2 24‚ might be 1920 x 1080 resolution, but we recommend making the image double that as it will be scaled.

Below are the resolutions for the Kiosks sold by Flipdish.

  • We recommend the image be as close to the device Aspect Ratio as possible. This means it can be used on the various device formats required for online websites, apps, kiosks, and mobile browser websites.

  • The image on the kiosk is usually centered and square, so ensure the primary parts of the image are within the center area of it, as the sides will likely be cropped off. See example below

We recommend uploading images to the Kiosk and trying different combinations, iterating until you are satisfied.

Outcome: After reading this article, you should now be empowered with the knowledge to customize your Kiosk interface using the configuration settings in the Flipdish Portal!
