Configure Collection Settings

The collection settings page allows you to enable collection for your store and set the minimum monetary value of the collection order. Please note that at the moment, collection also includes orders made to the table.

This feature can be found on your Flipdish Portal > Stores > {Select a store} > Collection settings

Enable collection

If this setting is toggled off, the store will no longer appear when a customers views collection, or if it's the only store in the group, no collection option will appear.

Once the collection is enabled, all below functionalities will become available.

Minimum collection amount

You can define what is the minimum value of the order made via collection in your store currency. Please note that your customers won't be able to place an order if the items in their basket are below the specified value.

Require customer name

If you wish to capture customer's name while they are placing an order during collection order, you can use the 'Require customer name' toggles. When the toggle is on, customer will be required to provide their name during ordering process.

Accept cash as payment method

Customer payment page allows you to enable or disable cash payments on collection service.

If this is turned off, customers won't be able to pick 'cash' as an option during checkout and they will be forced to use another method, ie. card payment, or Apple Pay/Google Pay.

SMS messaging

If this toggle is enabled, your customers will receive information about an estimated time when their order will be available for collection in the order confirmation SMS.
