On the order settings page, you are able to control settings related to the orders, both from your store point of view, as well as from the customer's.
Please make sure to read through the explanations before making any changes, as these settings will make impactful changes the workflow for incoming orders.
Require customer name for delivery
If you wish to capture customer's name while they are placing an order during delivery, you can use the 'Require customer name' toggles. When the toggle is on, customer will be required to provide their name during ordering process.
Customer notes
If customer notes are enabled, clients will have an option to add notes at the checkout screen, which will be visible to you in the order.
Mask customer phone numbers on receipts
Masking customer phone numbers on receipt will not show customer's number on printed receipt. This setting is critical in EU countries in order to be in compliance with GDPR regulation.
Accept tips online
This settings enables or disables tipping during the online ordering. If you would like to allow customers to leave tips while they make online orders, please toggle 'Accept tips online' on.
You can also configure what tipping rates will be visible to your customers, and what tipping rate will be selected by default.
SMS messaging
If this toggle is enabled, your customers will receive information about an estimated time when their order will be delivered in the order confirmation SMS.
On demand only: Require orders to be accepted
We also have a setting available on demand, which decides whether the orders should be auto-accepted by the system, or if it would require your approval each time new order comes in
