Completed items can be highlighted in yellow by clicking on the item and you also have the option to hide the item from the ticket in order to clean up your KDS screen.
How to hide items:
Click on the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the KDS
Click 'Control' at the top of the list
Tick the 'allow removing sale items' box
Click on the icon with the arrow pointing down once an item is complete
