SUMMARY
This article will provide instructions on how to set up and activate and set up the WisePad 3 card reader or a BBPOS Chipper with any Kiosk, using USB cable instead of Bluetooth connection.
Why would I use USB cable instead of Bluetooth?
Sometimes there is a lot of interference in a restaurant location which prevents Bluetooth working consistently. This can be caused by other Bluetooth devices, or by large metal surfaces for example.
In this case, using USB is more reliable and can be used instead to download updates and set up the card reader.
