Navigate the Flipdish Portal Homepage

This article explains what information you can find on the Home Page in your Flipdish Portal, and how to navigate around the Portal.

On the Home page of the Flipdish Portal, you can find the following sections:

  • Top bar with access to help, your user account, log out option, and brand search.

  • Navigation bar on the left-hand side with access to different pages across the Portal

  • Main screen with information on how much you saved with Flipdish so far, alerts (if there are any), quick access to your stores and information such as recent sales.


Below, we explain in more detail how to read and use information included in the main section of the home page.

Help Center

Click on the little question mark and a small menu will appear.

Support articles - Will take you directly to our HelpDesk page.
Talk to us - Will take you to our Contact page, where you can see all the communication channels with the Support Team.
Flipdish Academy - Will redirect you to our Flipdish Academy. A special platform with videos and tutorials that will enhance your experience with Flipdish Products.

Account

Click on the icon showing your initials or your profile picture (if you ever changed it) and this small menu will pop up.


My Account - Change your name, timezone, language and profile picture.
Developer Tools - Will give you access to a few useful apps and settings.
Logout

Brands

The third and last icon will show you a list of your brands and organizations. If you have more than one you can switch between portals here.


Stores - information and quick access

In the main section of the home page, you can find a full list of your stores with a recent sales chart against each with the option to quickly access settings.

Sales chart

The chart tells you the total sales in the last 7 days, broken down by each calendar date. The full line on the chart shows the current week's data, while the dotted line shows the previous week's data. If you hover over a specific point on the line, you will be able to see the sales value for a specific date.

Store settings

In the top right corner of the Store section, you can find a cog icon, which will open the selected store settings page.

Shortcuts

Underneath the sales chart, you can find shortcuts to the following store settings:

  • Orders

  • Hours override

  • Menus

  • End of day report

Unpublished store

The list of stores will also show stores that are in draft mode and unpublished. If such a store exists in your account, it will have a blue box on top of the store section indicating its state, with the option to publish it straight away.

Savings with Flipdish

The box above stores indicates how much savings you have made with Flipdish since you created your account. If you have stores using different currencies, this information will be shown separately in different currencies.

Savings are calculated using assumed fees that other companies would charge you if customers made orders with them otherwise - for cash orders, it is 14% and for card orders, it is 16%. We sum all your revenue respectively for card and cash orders, multiplied by relevant fees, and from this, we deduct Flipdish commission.

Alerts

If there are any alerts for your account, they will be displayed on top of the home page in yellow boxes with direct links to relevant pages, e.g., Banking details.
