Instructions
We issue updates to the Kiosk on a weekly basis. Most devices receive these updates in 24-48 hours, but in some cases, the kiosk may take longer to be notified of and install the latest version.
In order to force the kiosk to find and install the latest version, follow the below steps.
Step 1 - Exit the Flipdish Kiosk app
Press and hold the power button
Press "Exit Kiosk" in the top right corner of the screen

Step 2 - Go to the App Store
From the home screen, look for an orange App Store icon (see below).
Press it to enter the app store.
Step 3 - Download the latest version manually
If you are already on the latest version, you will see the "Open" button on the app.
If it is not on the latest version, you will see a button "Install Update".
Press the "Install Update" button to manually get the latest version.
Step 4 - Relaunch the Flipdish Kiosk App
After the app is done installing, the button "Open" will appear on the app. Press that.
The app will restart, and the kiosk is now ready for customers to use.
If the app does not load, you can exit the App Store, and swipe on the kiosk screen to find the Flipdish Kiosk app, and launch it manually.
Set to Flipdish App to Auto Update
The Kiosks are usually set to Auto Update the app from the App Store.
If your app is not updating automatically, check in the App Store under the "Me" taband ensure the toggle "Auto Update" is set to on.
