The Kiosk Local Order ID

Updated over 9 months ago

The Local Order ID is an alphanumeric identifier assigned to an order placed via a Flipdish Kiosk. The purpose of the Local Order ID is to give kiosk users a shorter, easy-to-recall identifier they can use when collecting their orders.

The Local Order ID is formatted as follows: [Letter][Number][Number][Number] For example: A123. The letter is chosen arbitrarily, and the number continues to increment throughout the day with each additional order placed on the kiosk.

The Local Order ID will increment by one on each order, and will reset to 001 after the 999th order is reached. In specific scenarios, you may want to force the prefix to be a predefined letter. In this case, please submit a ticket with your preferred prefix, and store name, and we'll carry out the required update for you.
