Learn how to integrate your Stuart delivery dispatch with Flipdish in just a few steps

Doordash Drive is a 'last mile' delivery company operating in the US, Canada, and Australia.

Flipdish can be configured to automatically notify Stuart when new delivery orders are placed with your store, allowing them to dispatch a driver/rider to you.

How does the integration work?

Once a delivery order has been placed through your website/app, and you have accepted it on your Flipdish Terminal/ through a (Point of Sale) integration a new delivery job will be created automatically that will request a driver to pick up the order.

By default, the integration is set up in a way that Doordash will be asked to collect the order 20 minutes before the requested delivery time. If you wish to decrease or increase this time please let us know.

How does the order flow through the systems?

The integration works in a way that it will trigger orders that are either placed or accepted for delivery, this is configurable to your needs. All your collection orders will be ignored by Doordash and you can handle them as you used to do.

How to check the latest status of my Doordash order on Flipdish?

To find out the latest status of your Doordash delivery order you can visit your Doordash dashboard or go to the orders tab within your Flipdish terminal or visit the Flipdish portal. Here you will be able to see the delivery status, the Doordash reference ID as well as get access to a tracking link if you are on the portal. You can also scroll down on that page to see an embedded map that will show your live Stuart delivery order in progress.

What are the different configuration settings I can apply?

  • Number of minutes before delivery ETA
    The time it takes on average to deliver an order to your customer. This is the number of minutes when the driver picks up the order at your store before the accepted for time.

  • Minimum food prep time
    The time after receiving or accepting an order that it should be considered ready to collect. This is set in minutes.

  • Dispatch when order is placed/accepted
    The settings allow you to choose from the 2 options below. Most common is to choose the option when an order is accepted.

  • Order cancellations
    We have the option to cancel an order automatically when DoorDash is unable to fulfill the delivery for you.

  • Delivery Zones
    The integration has the option to select which delivery zones to use with the Doordash integration, as the store may have multiple delivery zones and only require Doordash for a subset of those zones.
