Accept / Reject Orders in the Flipdish Portal

You can easily accept or reject your online orders from within your Flipdish Portal.

Requirements:

  • Access to Flipdish Portal

  • User role: Owner, Store Owner, Store Manager, or Store Staff

Whether on desktop or mobile, visit the Orders page in your Flipdish Portal.

You can manage orders in standard view or Live view.

Standard view

This is standard view where you can see all of your orders in chronological order, from last to first. In order to accept or reject order, select an order in Pending state (purple color).

To enter Live View, select the "Live View" button on the right hand corner of the screen.

If there are any pending orders, they will appear in this live view. To alert you, a sound plays when a new order comes in, or if there are any pending orders. Pending orders have a purple symbol beside them, with the most recent order appearing at the top of the page.

Accept order

To accept the order, use the white and green coloured buttons on the bottom left side of the screen. Use relevant buttons to accept the order with the most suitable lead time, e.g. 10 minutes. Please note that this time will appear in the confirmation SMS that will be immediately send to your customer.

Once the order is accepted, it will change colour to green.

Examples of how the ETA and "Accepted for" work:

Example 1:

The order created at: 17:11
Requested for: 18:00
Accepted at: 17:12
ETA given: 5 min
SMS confirmation/Accepted for: 18:00

That happened because "5 min" is less than the "requested for" time.


Example 2:

The order created at: 17:06
Requested for: 17:30
Accepted at: 17:07
ETA given: 90 min
SMS confirmation/Accepted for: 18:37

The "formula would be" (Accepted at +90 min) = 18:37 as "the accepted for".

That happened because 90 min is higher than the time they requested (17:30)

Reject

If you need to reject the order, use the Reject button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Once you click the button, a list of available reject reasons to choose from will appear. This is important, as this rejection reason will appear in the confirmation SMS that will be immediately send to your customer.

Once the order is rejected, it will change colour to red.
