This article provides a step-by-step guide to setting up menu overrides in the Flipdish portal.
How Menu Overrides Work:
POS - Flipdish Web & App - 3rd Party Marketplaces
Available Levels: Category, Category Item, Modifier, Modifier Item.
Constraints: Property, Venue, Dispatch type, Day, and Timing.
Requirements:
Login access to the Flipdish Portal as Owner.
Permission to edit menu configuration.
Instructions:
Login to the Flipdish Portal.
Go to Menu Editor.
Select the menu for which you want to set overrides.
Choose Categories or Modifiers.
Select a category, modifier, or an item within them.
To hide the category, modifier or item indefinitely, click on the three vertical dots and select 'Disable'.
To select a specific schedule for a category, modifier or item.
Instead of Disable, click on Edit.
Go to Schedules and press Edit.
You can select "Default" for the categories, items or modifiers that follow the shop opening hours and are always available.
You can customize the times for every category, item or modifier. Select Custom and click on 'New schedule'.
Here you can rename the schedule, select applicable properties, venues and dispatch types. By clicking on "All days" you can select which days the item is available, and in the "Time" dropdown menu you can pick one of our preset times or customize it.
Click on "Apply Changes" to save your schedule.
Repeat for each category, item, modifier.
Publish the menu to save all the changes you've made.
