Problem
When the menu in POS and Marketplaces (JustEat, UberEats, Deliveroo) are not mutually in sync, you might see the following errors on either receipts or KDS screens:
Failed to find product. Find more details on tablet.
Failed to find modifiers. Find more details on tablet.
Requirements
Login access to Flipdish Portal.
Permission to edit menu configuration.
Solution
Follow these steps to fix the error:
1. Menu Synchronization
Verify that the menu items and modifiers are consistent across all platforms:
Point of Sale (POS)
Marketplaces (JustEat, UberEats, Deliveroo)
2. Fix Discrepancies
Identify and correct any inconsistencies between menus to ensure they match precisely across all platforms.
3. Republish the Menu
Initiate the process of republishing the corrected menu from the Menu Editor in your Flipdish Portal.
4. Republish to Marketplaces
Once the menu is synchronized, proceed to update the menu on the integrated marketplaces, such as JustEat, UberEats, and Deliveroo.
By following these steps, you can address the root cause of the problem and ensure that the menu is precisely in sync on all relevant platforms.
Important: Always use the Menu Editor UI to publish and update your menus. Directly updating the menu on marketplaces can cause menu inconsistencies.
