If you would prefer your point-of-sale customer receipts to only print on request or to be prompted after each sale as to whether you would like a customer receipt, you can easily update your print configuration from your RMS back office.
Requirements (if applicable):
You must be using the Flipdish point-of-sale system
Instructions:
Go to your Flipdish Portal - https://portal.flipdish.com
Go to Sales Channels and select Point of Sale. If you have more than one property, choose the property where you want to make these changes.
Go to Settings.
Choose Print Settings.
Click the drop down below 'Print Receipt' and you can change the print behaviour for your customer receipts to 'Always', 'Optional' or 'Never'.
Note: This will change the print behaviour for all point-of-sale stations associated to this property and will only impact customer receipts, it will not change behaviour for kitchen dockets.
