You'll use the Sales vs Costs Report to view a breakdown of your Total Sales per Property, compared to costs you have defined in your Property setup.The term Costs may include your Payroll, COGs, Venue Commissions, and Fixed Costs.

Requirements:
You will need to be a staff member with Back Office app permissions.
To populate Payroll data, you will need to use the Flipdish POS Payroll module.
To populate COGs data, you will need to enter your Cost of Goods into your recipe for each menu item.
Instructions:
Step 1 - Log into your Point of Sale Back Office with your email address and password.
Step 2 - Click on the Business or Store name in the top right drop down.
Selecting the Business Name will aggregate sales data for all stores.
Selecting the Store Name will filter data for that Store only.
Step 3 - Click "Reports" in the left panel.
Step 4 - Click "Accounts"
Step 5 - Click "Sales vs Costs"
Step 6 - Add your date period.

Key Terms
Total Sales: All sales for that set date period.
Total Cost: The sum of Fixed Costs, Payroll Costs, Cost of Goods and Venue Commission.
Total Cost %: The % of Costs applied to Total Sales.
Gross Profit: Total Sales - Total Cost.
Fixed Costs: Any Fixed Costs that were entered in your Expenses and Bills module of the Back Office app.
Fixed Cost %: The % of Total Sales that are Fixed Costs.
Payroll Cost: The Total Cost of Payroll including Holidays, Insurance, Wages.
Payroll Cost %: The % Total Sales that are applied to Payroll.
Cost of Goods: The Total Cost of Goods as entered in your menu product settings.
Cost of Goods %: The % of Total Sales that are applied to Cost of Goods.
Venue Commission: The Commissions charged by each of your Ordering Channels.
Venue Commission %: The % of Total Sales that are applied to Venue Commissions.
Filters & Grouping
The report will default to grouping data by Property > Year > Month > Day of Week. If you need to rearrange how your data is grouped, you can drag and drop as well as delete grouping settings.
When you hover over the Group column, you'll see 3 horizontal lines. Drag this header column to the grey space labelled "Drag here to set row groups" to update data Grouping.
