Change Order Sequence and Due Time on Your KDS

Orders can be sequenced by due time on the KDS instead of appearing in the order that they are received.
Please note: You can configure default due times by Storefront in your Flipdish POS back office, but you can also adjust individual order due times right from the KDS.

To change the sequence of orders:
- Click on the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the KDS
- Click 'Control' at the top of the list
- Tick the 'allow drag and drop' box
- Drag and drop tickets into the preferred position

To display a flashing warning for orders that are overdue:
- Click on the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the KDS
- Click 'Control' at the top of the list
- Tick the 'display warning for late orders' box

To change the due time:
- Click on the due time shown at the top of the order
- Choose hours or minutes to add
OR
- Select the time of day the order needs to be ready at
- Click 'Update'
The order will disappear if the lead time is now longer than the prep time you have set for your orders. The order will reappear when the new prep time arrives.
