To restore your WisePad 3 card reader to its factory settings, follow these steps:
Requirements:
WisePad3 device
Paper clip
Instructions:
Locate the Reset Pinhole: Find the small circular pinhole next to the charging port on the side of the WisePad 3 device. (Refer to diagram below)
With a paper clip, press and hold the small circular opening at the side of the device.
Confirm the Reset: The device will restart and prompt you to confirm the factory reset. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
After the reset, the device will return to its original factory settings. You will need to set up the device again, so ensure you have all necessary information and credentials ready.
Important Considerations:
Battery Charge: Ensure the WisePad 3 is charged above 50% before initiating the reset, especially if a software update is required afterward.
Post-Reset Setup: After resetting, you will need to re-pair the reader with your Flipdish Kiosk or point-of-sale (POS) application. Follow the setup instructions specific to your Flipdish system.
