You can group items by course on tickets/orders using course tags.
Instructions:
Step 1 - Log into your Flipdish Portal.
Step 2 - Click on the "Sales Channels" tab, in the left hand side menu.
Step 3 - Click on 'Settings'.
Step 4 - Click "Tags". Here you will see all the tags that currently exist.
Step 5 - Click "Add" in the top right corner.
Step 6 - Select 'KDS Course Tag' as the type.
Step 7 - Enter a tag code which can be a description of the tag which could be starter, main course, drinks or dessert.
Step 8 - Enter a number to highlight in which sequence the courses should appear. 1 being the first and so on.
Step 9 - Click "Save" in the top right corner to add the tag
Step 10 - Click "Menu Editor" on the left hand side menu and select the desired menu.
Step 11 - Look for the item, click on the three vertical dots on the right side and select "Edit".
Step 12 - Go to "Additional Settings", scroll down until you get to "Kitchen Operations" and click on "Edit".
Step 13 - Select the desired KDS Tags and click on "Apply Changes" to save them.
Step 14 - Go back and click "Publish" once you're done adding all the tags you need.
Step 15 - Go to your KDS screen
Step 16 - Click on the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the KDS screen.
Step 17 - Click "Display" on the list.
Step 18 - Tick the "Display course name" box.
