Add a Custom Payment Method to Your Flipdish POS

If you would like to add new or custom payment methods to your Point of Sale so that when processing a payment you can use this method and your end of day and back office reports will show this, you can do this in your RMS portal back office. A popular example is when you accept gift cards or vouchers that are not integrated into your system but you still want to be able to report on how much of these are being used for payments.

Requirements:

You will need to have your login details to access your RMS back office portal at https://rms.flipdish.com/

If you do not have access to this portal then please contact Flipdish support and they will be able to help you get access.

Instructions:

  1. Login to your RMS portal at https://rms.flipdish.com/

  2. If you have multiple locations, choose the location that you want the payment method to be available at using the dropdown menu in the top right hand corner of your portal. If you would like it available at all locations then make sure the Franchisor is selected. Once selected, go to Configurations > System

  1. Click Payment Methods > Add - now you can configure your payment method exactly how you would like it to function.

  1. Restart your Point of Sale app and you can now use this payment method when processing a transaction, simply select Other on the payment page.

This will help you configure your Point of Sale in a way that best suits your business needs and makes the lives of you and your staff as easy as possible while also offering the a seamless experience for your customers.
