Store Operations Report

Updated over 8 months ago

Within the Flipdish Portal, the Store Operations Report allows you to see when your stores were using the hours overrides feature to either close their online ordering during opening hours, or to open during closing hours. It also allows you to quickly and easily see how busy your stores are at all times of day in chosen time increments across the week.

To access the Store Operations report, follow the below steps:

  1. Login to your Flipdish Portal.

  2. Click on the Reports option in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen.

  3. Select the Store Operations Report option from the list of reports.

Filters

The filters section, found at the top of the page, provides granularity for exploring your store operations data. The following is a list of the set of filters and a brief explanation of what each does:

  • Stores - The store/s for which data will be shown. By default it will show all stores.

  • Override start time - The period for which you want to see store hour overrides displayed. By default it will show the previous 90 days.

  • Time period - The date range for which you want to see order frequency displayed. By default it will show the previous 90 days.

  • Order frequency time increment - Choose whether the order frequency table shows orders divided into periods of 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Store Hour Overrides

This table shows a list of every time a store used the hours override feature to close their online ordering at a time they were otherwise scheduled to be open, or to open when scheduled to be closed. The following data points are shown:

  • Store - Which store was affected by the override.

  • Override type - Whether the override was for delivery or pick up orders. Note that where it was for both, this will show as two separate lines, one each for delivery and pick up.

  • Calendar event - Either “Closed” when the store was scheduled to be open, or “Open” to open the store when it was scheduled to be closed.

  • Override start time - The date and time in local timezone of when the override began.

  • Override end time - The date and time in local timezone of when the override ended.

  • Override duration - The length of time in minutes for which the override was active.

Total Override Duration by Store

This grouped bar chart shows the total sum, in hours, of overrides applied to each store, split by delivery and pick up override types. These results are for the period chosen using the Override start time report filter. Note that only overrides which are of the calendar event type Closed are included in this chart.

Order Frequency

This table shows the total number of orders placed within the time period defined by your time period filter and for the stores in your stores filter, divided into sections of 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes depending on the value you have selected for Order frequency time increment.

Data will only be shown if there was at least one order within that time period, so times of day during which there were no orders (including because stores were closed) will not be shown. The time of day is based on when orders were requested for by your customers.

Note that when your time period filter includes more than one of any day of the week, data from each of the same day of the week will be combined in the column for that day. For example if you are looking at a period of 30 days which starts on a Saturday, the figures you see will include the data for all five Saturdays in that period combined in one column.
