How do I set up the Customer Feedback App?

Subscribe to and configure the Customer Feedback App to start receiving feedback from consumers.

Requirements:

The Customer Feedback App sends a request for feedback to customers who purchased through Flipdish online ordering. It will send this by email where possible, otherwise by SMS up to a limit of 200 per month per store. It will also send the request to kiosk users where contact details are available.

The feedback app does not currently send feedback requests for orders placed on the Flipdish POS.

The app is charged on a subscription basis for £25 (UK) or €30 (IE) per month per store.

The app is currently available for clients in the UK including Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

Who can access the feature?

Owner, managed owner etc.

Owner and managed owner. Emails containing feedback are sent to the email address specified during setup.

Subscribing

  • Navigate to the Portal App Store: https://portal.flipdish.com/appstore

  • Select the Customer Feedback app

  • If you do not already have a subscription the license usage will indicate that you have no licenses available

  • Click “Subscribe now” and complete the checkout process. Note that each subscription and license covers one store

  • Once completed, the license usage will indicate that there is one or more available license

Configuration

  • On the Feedback App page, click “Install App” to open the configuration

  • Select which store or stores this should apply to. Note that a license is needed for each store

  • Enter the email address you want to receive feedback to

  • Enter your Google review link. This is the link that customers will be prompted to click on if they leave a positive review

  • The Google review link can be found from your Google Business Profile Manager. On the Home tab, look for the “Get More Reviews: Share review form” section. Click the “Share review form” button. The Google review link will appear

  • Click “Save and enable” to activate the app

Receiving feedback

  • Customers will receive a prompt for feedback 30 minutes after they were scheduled to receive their food. Where their email address is available an email will be sent, otherwise an SMS will be sent up to a limit of 200 per month per store. It is possible that some customers will not be prompted for feedback if this limit is reached

  • Where the 200 SMS limit is likely to be reached before the end of the monthly period, an SMS will only be sent to a subset of customers in order to space out the remaining messages over the rest of the month

  • You will receive feedback including all ratings and comments to the email given in the setup, on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Customers who leave a 4 or 5 star review will also be prompted to leave a Google review using the review link provided in the setup page

The Customer Feedback App is set up and consumers will now be prompted to provide their feedback.
