Managing your menu effectively is crucial when integrating with third-party platforms like Just Eat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats. The Flipdish Point of Sale (POS) makes it simple to update and publish your menu across all platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Menu management overview
Centralized menu updates
All menu updates, including new items, pricing changes, and modifier management, should be made directly in the Flipdish POS.
Important note: Changes made in third-party marketplace portals, such as Just Eat, Deliveroo, or Uber Eats, will not sync back to the Flipdish POS. This can disrupt the integration, so always manage your menu through the Flipdish system.
Modifier and pricing management
Modifiers must be consistent across all platforms. If modifiers are priced inconsistently, it may cause issues such as rejected orders or incomplete menu syncing.
Uber Eats pricing limit: Items must be priced under £/€299.99.
How to publish your menu
To publish your menu through the Flipdish Portal, follow these steps:

Things to keep in mind
Menu snoozing: If you need to temporarily hide an item across all platforms, you can use the Snooze function in the Flipdish POS. This will remove the item from all connected marketplaces simultaneously.
Image requirements: Ensure that images meet the specifications for each platform. For example, Just Eat requires images in a 4:3 aspect ratio, and it may take up to 10 days for images to appear on the platform.
By managing your menu through the Flipdish POS, you ensure that all updates are applied consistently across all third-party platforms, maintaining accurate and reliable information for your customers.
